Essentially yes, although plant based refers to diet, whereas vegan has more “lifestyle” connotations. A plant based–or vegan–diet is one in which you do not consume any animal based foods; a vegan diet excludes all meats (fish, poultry, beef, pork), dairy (cow or animal milk, cheese, eggs), honey, and gelatin (or other animal by products).

At present we offer a VT1 box which gluten free, but is not soy-free or nut-free. The VT1 box is a weekly subscription box that is gives you a single plant based gluten free meal for two people. Our VT3 box is not specifically gluten free although we include our VT1 meal as part of our weekly 3 meal offerings.
Our current delivery area is the Northeastern US. We will be expanding as we grow, so join our mailing list and stay up to date on when we are coming to your area!
Not at this time, but we will be adding the option to substitute one meal per box soon. For now, we choose 3 flavorful, easy-to-prepare meals for each week’s menu.
About 30 to 45 minutes.
Our meals contain up to 35 grams of protein per serving (each recipe varies). When you’re eating a varied diet of whole foods, you don’t need to worry about protein as much as you think you do!
Our primary focus is on produce that we can verify as responsibly grown. When we can choose to purchase directly from a farmer with ecologically responsible growing practices over a monoculture organic farm thousands of miles away, that’s always our first choice. Produce that makes the Environmental Working Group’s “Dirty Dozen” list will be organic. We choose VegTable’s produce the way we choose the produce that we feed our families – with great care and consideration for all factors –your health, the environment, and supporting family farms.
VegTable is real food by real people, and we are happy to make it right with your next box, as well as offer a “workaround” for your current situation. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 848-200-2315 between 9am and 5pm EST. We’re here to help!
At VegTable, we spend a lot of time thinking about our impact on the environment after the meals are finished. We are committed to sourcing packaging with the smallest amount of environmental impact that we can find.
